An FM transmission system with r.m.s frequency deviation=100kHzis used to transmit a Gaussian base band information signal havingflat spectrum to 10kHz. Through a fading channel. The transmitted power is 5watt. The received power is exponentially distributed with variance =8dB. The average channel loss is 40dB. A superhetrodyne receiver is used with input noise of WGN withPSD=E(-10) w/Hz. Use Carsons Rule for RF-1F bandwidth.
a) Find the output SNR.
b) Repeat a) if FMFB receiver with feedback factor = 2.8 is used with reasonable assumptions, and comment on the result.
