A PM motor supplied with 10 V has the torque-speed curves of Figure 7.10.

a. Find the stall torque.

b. Find the no-load speed.

c. Find the rpm of the motor if it is lifting a 4-oz load by a string over a 3-in. radius pulley.

d. A 3:1 step-down gear pass is inserted between the motor and pulley shaft (of part c). Sketch the setup and determine the motor rpm.
