You are asked to determine the resonant frequencies and mode shapes of a power system in a thermal power plant. You model it as an unrestrained torsional vibrational system consisting of a compressor, turbine, and a generator. You decide to use Holzer's method to find the natural frequencies of the system and determine the mode shapes, and to construct a plot of total torque vs. a, over the frequency range where the mode frequencies exist. As a sanity check, you decide to compare your results to results found using either a classical Newtonian (FBD) approach, OR a Lagrangian (energy-based) approach. Include the tabulation table in your report.
