A particle of mass m1 = 3.57kg is traveling in the x-direction at a speed of v1 = 23.6m/s and collides with another particle of mass m2 = 2.85kg that is initially at rest. After the collision, the first particle is traveling with a speed of 7.86m/s at an angle of 319o with respect to the x-axis.

a) What is the magnitude of the final velocity of the second particle?

(b) What angle does the trajectory of the second particle make with the x-axis?
