Leah and Arif now do a practice problem.

Suppose you are in a partially darkened room holding a flat piece of white cardboard in one hand and a converging lens of focal distance 6.6 x 10-2 m in your other hand. You want to form an image of the window in front of you, which is at a distance of 1.93 m in front of the lens.

How far behind the lens should the cardboard be held to form as sharp an image as possible?

If the height of the window is 1.00 m, find the height of its image.
