The moment of inertia of three rotors A,B and C are respectively 0.3, 0.6 and 0.18 kg-m2 . The distance between A and B is 1.5 m and B and C is 1 m. The shaft is 70 mm in diameter and the modulus of rigidity for the shaft material is 84 x 109 N/m2 . Find (i) the frequencies of torsional vibrations (ii) Position of nodes (iii) Amplitude of vibrations.
