A uniform ladder is 10-m long and it weighs 100-N. The ladder leans against a smooth wall with its base on a sidewalk 6-m from the base of the wall. A person weighing 200-N stands on the ladder 2-m from the bottom as measured along the ladder.

a) Find the force exerted on the ladder by the wall

b) and the horizontal and vertical components of the force exerted on the ladder by the sidewalk.
