In a lab, you are supposed to observe and record the 4 different kinds of corn kernel phenotypes. The phenotypes are purple smooth, purple wrinkle, yellow smooth, and yellow wrinkled. The results for the observed number was 196 of purple smooth, 62 of purple wrinkle, 92 of yellow smooth, and 22 of yellow wrinkled. Now find the expected number of each phenotype (hint: according to mendel's law, the dihybrid should yield 9 purple smooth: 3 purple wrinkled: 3 yellow smooth: 1 yellow wrinkled)
