Two Circular metal plates of radius 3.4 cm have parallel facesseparated by a distance of 0.5 mm

a) Find the capacitance of of this arrangemnet.

b) If the plates are connected to a 12V batter, andequilibrium is esatblished, find the charge on the positive plateof the capacitor.

c) Find the electric field between the plates. Thebattery is discconnected and the plates are pulled apart to aseperation of 5mm

d) Find the change in energy stored in the capacitor

e) Find the electric field between the plates at the newseperation.
