1) A mass , m=1.75 kg, is held between two springs having spring constants 30 N/m and 75 N/m respectively. Find the angular frequency, w, for small oscillations?. The springs provide appropriate tension and compression forces for the mass to oscillate.(Hint: write Newton's 2nd Law in differential form and equate to the appropriate spring forces).
