A 240V, short shunt, cumulative compound generator is rated at 100A. The shunt field current is 3A. It has an armature resistance of 50 milli-ohm, a series field resistance of 10 milli-ohm a field diverter resistance of 50 milli-ohm and a rotational loss of 2kW. The generator is connected to the load via a feeder whose resistance is 30 milli-ohm. When the generator is supplying the full load at the voltage, determine the rotational loss.
