Read Chapter 9( I attached Chapter 9 here)
DNA TESTING in court is always contested especially when used in an exonneration. If a person is wrongly convicted (even if it was years ago) most courts allow the case to be reopened and retried or just vacated.
OR
Also, just recently groups of parents have been allowed to opt out of measles and DPT testing. THeir reasoning is based on bad science (vaccines cause autism). The parents feel is that the government can not force anyone to innoculate their children). The government says it is protecting children and are trying to add more vaccines to a long list of shots children MUST have. You can use any case like this even if it has not gone to court.
Find a legal case involving exonneration of convicted criminals (the innocence project web site has hundreds) OR parents right to refuse testing) Write it up and don't forget to give your opinion. (THE ANSWER SHOULD BE LESS THAN ONE PAGE).

The DNA sequence occurs in the nontemplate strand of a structural gene in bacterium. The sequence in bold represents the Shine Dalgarno sequence.
What are some of the problems identified in ensuring patients' access to and use of hospice care in the US? What would we need to do in order to have hospice become a potentially new paradigm of social health care for an aging society
Suppose an aqueous cellular protein has a "patch" of mostly hydrophobic residues on one portion of its surface. What simple strategy might the cell adopt to prevent these hydrophobic residues from being exposed to the solvent?
Imagine that you have two people using breathing gear under water. Diver 1 is using an old style "rebreather" that removes carbon dioxide before the mixture is "rebreathed" and therefore decreases overall carbon dioxide concentrations in the blood..
Determine the cell biology of periodontal ligament tissues (PDL) originating from cranial neural-crest-derived extomesenchymal cells.
How does a theory differ from a hypothesis? How many possible genotypes are there from this mating? How many possible phenotypes? Give an example either from your book or from class of a population bottleneck.
Consider the example of epistasis in the coat color of Laborador Retrievers. Recall that the double recessive homozygote animals are yellow with liver noses and eyes, instead of yellow with black noses and eyes;
In 1918, the tsar and tsarina of Russia and their five children were presumably assassinated and buried in an unmarked grave. Later, several women came forward and claimed that they were in fact Anastasia.
Mexican hairless dogs are heterozygous (Hh), carrying a single copy of the dominant lethal allele. In a given population, the Hh genotypic frequency is 60% and the frequency of each homozygote is 20%.
What are the ecological effects of herbivores on plants? Why is the world green? A complete answer to this question would include all of the processes that limit herbivore growth.
You trap and mark 400 field mice in one week. Later you come back and capture 200 field mice. Of the 200 captured in the second effort, 150 are recaptures.
