Two blocks with masses m1 = 2.00kg and m2 = 9.00kg are attached over a pulley with mass M = 3.00kg, hanging straight down as in Atwood's machine. The pulley is a solid cylinder with radius 0.050m. Find an expression for the linear acceleration of the two objects, using the concepts of angular momentum and torque. Compute the value of the linear acceleration. Show all work.
