The main purpose of this project is to investigate the various applications of sinusoidal and square wave oscillators, such as those studied in Chapter 12, at system levels. The procedure of the project is as follows:
Find an Electronics system that uses oscillator (s).
Overview the functions of the system and its different components.
Identify the important specifications of the oscillator (s).
Explain the circuit (s) is (are) designed to meet these specifications.
Use SPICE program to simulate the designed oscillator (s).
Write a complete technical report describing your project including you comments and observations.
A charge q is located at each corner of an equilateral triangle of side a. Find the magnitude of the force on each charge. Sketch the directions of forces.
A series circuit consisting of a 30-µF capacitor and a 0.155-henry inductor is connected to a 120-volt 60-cycle source. Calculate the circuit current and indicate whether it lags behind or leads the voltage.
The line voltage is 120V, the armature resistance is 0.7 Ω and the series field-winding resistance is 0.5Ω. What is the torque developed by the motor. For the motor to operate at a speed of 2400rpm,
a- The adjustability of the potentiometer can be used to obtain an adjustable output voltage b- Both power supplies must be used so that the adjustable voltage can have both positive and negative values
The sampled signal x[n] obtained above is processed by the ideal D-to-C converters with the sampling rate (600 Hz). Obtain the representation of the continuous signal. Determine the Nyquist sampling rate such that no aliasing occurs in the sampled..

Determine the dBm level for an output of 120mW A power level of 100W is 6dB above what power level Find the output voltage of an amlifier if the applied voltage is 20mV and a dBv gain of 22 dB is attained
A simple low-pass discrete-time filter is characterized by the following linear difference equation: y[n] = f y[n-1] +(1- f) x[n] , with 0 1 Draw and clearly label an adder-gain-delay diagram for the filter. using the same difference equation from a..
To what voltage must the capacitor becharged. (One horsepower is equivalent to 745.7 watts.) Does this seem to be a practical method for storing this amount of energy. Do you think that an electric automobile design based on capacitive energy stor..
You are evaluating the feasibility of adding an injection molder to fabricate plastic sporks (everybody’s favorite harmless utensil) for the US Facility for the Criminally Insane. An injection molder will cost $1,200,000 installed.
Determine whether the following discrete-time systems are causal or noncausal, have memory or are memoryless, are linear or nonlinear, are time invariant or time varying. In the following parts, x[n] is an arbitrary input and y[n] is the response
A 75-kVA, 230-V/115-V, 60-Hz was tested with these results: Open-circuit test: 115 V, 16.3 A, 750 W; Short-circuit test: 9.5 V, 326 A, 1200 W a) Determine the voltage regulation at rated load, 0.8 power factor lagging.
