Find an article from a professional journal, newspaper, online resource, healthcare website or reputable healthcare blog, etc..., that is no more than two years old and relates to one or more of the course objectives or the weekly topics of this course (refer to your syllabus and assigned reading schedule). If your article is short it will make this assignment more difficult so find an article with some weight and depth to it. Journal articles are great for this assignment but you can also draw from podcast episodes or from other sources, as mentioned above. Students will submit a written summary (250-500 words)of that article to the Discussion Board. You must include the following to receive full credit for this assignment:

The exact reference information including website or webpage link
Summary of the current event article
Definition of any terms or acronyms used in the article you don't know or think another student in this class may not know.
Explain why you chose the article and how it relates to this class or is important to share
