Offenses such as drug trafficking, nuclear smuggling, organized crime, terrorism, human trafficking, computer crime, and other crimes have spilled from other countries into the United States.

Regardless of origin, these and other transnational and international crimes directly impact U.S. national security and the interests of all Americans."
