Question
Prepare a frequency plot for the data provided for Fecal Coliform bacterial counts in the wastewater effluent (CFU per 100 mL) and the influent flowrate for the time-period provided (2007-2008). Prepare a correlation plot for the data provided for Fecal Coliform bacterial counts in the wastewater effluent (CFU per 100 mL) and influent flowrate for the time-period provided (2007-2008). Add the wastewater discharge limits to your graph: (1) not more than 200 fecal coliform bacteria per 100 mL over 30-day period (2) Not more than 400 fecal coliform CFU per 100 mL over 7-day period. Based on the frequency plots, would you use a parametric or non-parametric test to evaluate the relationship between bacterial counts in the effluent and the influent flowrate. Why or why not? If the data were not normally distributed try transforming the data to obtain a normal distribution. Discuss your observations. Is there a relationship between influent flowrate (higher flowrate may be due to surface water runoff into combined sewers) and E. coli levels in the wastewater effluent? Is the plant meeting the wastewater discharge limits? If not, what do you recommend? Make sure that your plots have a figure caption, axis labels, legend, and
It is a very curcial concept to understand how the immune response is mounted against viruses, bacteria, protozoans and helminthes. For an effective immune response, both innate and adaptive immunity should work together.
