Assignment - The Conundrums of Leading and Managing

In this assignment, you will reflect individually on your work and use concepts and models in organizational behavior and organizational theories to develop insight. Having read the Inescapable Conundrums of Managing by Mintzberg, identify the conundrums in your own work, explore their root causes and put forward potential solutions. You should strive to propose 2 or 3 conundrums of your own - please do not simply recycle the conundrums put forward by Mintzberg.

In your paper, you should

1. Explain and/or illustrate the conundrums that you created.

2. Explore the root causes of each conundrum - to do this, you should search organizational behavior manuals, organizational theory textbooks and scholarly databases to find sources that can help you analyze the main causes.

3. Identify best practices and potential solutions - extract from (and give appropriate credit to) textbooks, professional articles and journal articles that suggest the most relevant avenues to tackle these conundrums.

The paper should be max. 10 pages excluding references, max. 5 pages of appendices, 12 font, double spaced, Times New Roman, 1-inch margins, APA Referencing Style.
