In the assignment, you will explore the need to integrate evidence-based practices to address an opportunity for improvement in a profession or efficiency in your own workplace setting, you will integrate concepts and terminology learned in the first four modules in a 5 to 8-page paper. Use at least five (5) peer-reviewed sources published within the last 4 years.

Address the following

1. Describe a key problem facing your organization or the area of your professional interest. Be certain to describe the problem in detail and tell me why it is a problem, as well as why it needs to be addressed. Your discussion should include the "impact" of the problem on the organization.

2. Conduct a literature search and find at least two (2) articles/studies that reveal evidence-based practice(s) in your specific profession or workplace setting you selected.

3. Discuss how the assessment cycle/process was conducted in the articles you selected that support the evidence-based practice.

4. Compare and contrast the two articles regarding needs assessment What was similar? What was different? Were any gaps in either of the two articles' needs assessment (e.g., what would you have done differently?).

5. Based upon what you learned about your workplace setting or profession and the assessment cycle in evidence-based practice, what do you believe you can apply to address an opportunity for improvement in a profession or efficiency in your own workplace setting?
