Learning Outcome 5: Demonstrate an application (SOLO 2) of ERP cycles and explore business processes using different ERP software.
PART A
Students will write a report that identifies 5 enterprise systems that are used in different industries and discuss their functionalities.
PART B
XYZ Inc., a mid-sized business organization in the Western Hemisphere, tracked its inventory in a spreadsheet and its financial data in desktop accounting software. When the company began doubling sales year-over-year, leadership felt its current processes weren't keeping up. Spreadsheets couldn't account for changing inventory costs, and the accounting software didn't have the workflows necessary to record the cost of goods sold (COGS), an important financial metric. As a result, they had to do double data entry-manually.
Write a recommendation report based on the given case study. Investigate and Identify a list of possible ERP software. You must also describe and recommend to the organization a software, as well as a vendor to implement their ERP system.
Explain and demonstrate why the recommended ERP software and vendor suit the organisation's current needs. Finally, you should explain the additional benefits they stand to derive from ERP implementation.
PART C
Each student will present their recommendation in the class.
Report

Your report should be a synthesis of ideas researched from a variety of sources and expressed in your own words. It should be written in clear English and be submitted in electronic format as either a Word document or a pdf file. This electronic file will be checked using Turnitin for any evidence of plagiarism. You are expected to use in-text citations to support your arguments which should be referenced in the normal APA referencing style.
Presentation
Each student is required to create a short 5-6 minute presentation that includes audio which presents a summary of the report findings. The presentation should consist of at least 10 to 12 slides including the title slide and references slide.your narration to about 20 to 30 seconds for each slide.
