Question: John Gottman is a well-known sexologist who has studied extensively what seems to contribute to relationship satisfaction and success. So now you have the opportunity to complete one of his self-assessments that tests the strength of your relationship with a partner. Here is what I would like you to do first: 1) Select a relationship in which you are currently active. If that is not the case, think back to a relationship you have had in the past.* With that relationship in mind, complete the self-assessment, Know Your Partner, on page 375 in text (page 413 if you have the 13th edition). The self-assessment explains how to score your self-assessment. 2) Post a comment regarding what you have learned from completing this self-assessment. Has it confirmed areas of strength in your relationship with your partner? Has it indicated opportunities for increasing the strength of your relationship with another? Explain.
