Goals for personal practicum experiences
During this Individual Psychotherapy practicum experience, I plan to:
Identify and analyze my preceptor's agency's mission, vision, and values.
Observe preceptor while learning the use of various types of psychotherapy and nursing theory techniques in managing clients with complex mental health/substance abuse.
Observe assessment/counseling sessions Review, Evaluate different patient treatment options.

Objectives for personal practicum experience
Demonstrate the use of advanced practice skills in the provision of mental health care/counseling for adults
Demonstrate/ Observe the use of various types of psychotherapy and nursing theory techniques in managing clients with complex mental health/substance abuse.
Observe/Demonstrate assessment/counseling sessions
provide compassionate care when necessary
