Case: An unknown sample of bacteria was cultured in trypticase soy broth (TSB) and subsequently streaked onto a trypticase soy agar (TSA) plate for examination. A three-quadrant streaking method was used. After incubation at 37°C for 7 days, the TSA plate was removed and examined.

Question 1. The TSA plate clearly shows the presence of two distinct bacterial types. Provide a brief explanation as to why this statement is true.

Question 2. Classify each of the two bacterial colonies based on their relative morphology.
