Explain the varying social systems and ideas which connected individuals with larger society in each of three "cultural eras" which we have studied this semester: Dominions (1490-1750), Republics (1750-1815), and Democracies (1815-1865). Describe basic cultural paradigm in each period (Patriarchy, Republicanism, and the "Market Revolution"). In each era, describe how organization of work, structure of politics, and nature of religion, reflected and reinforced the dominant "ideology"? Explain "revolutionary" forces or events which compelled each cultural era top give way to next.
