The entity-relationship model (or ER model) is a way of graphically representing the logical relationships of entities (or objects) in order to create a database. This is also referred to as the data model.
Employing a data model permits the designer to present data visually. These models focus on representing the data in terms of a user's viewpoint. During our discussion, let's also consider not only the importance and advantages of data modeling but also do some web research regarding modeling tools.
