Question: For this exer.cise you will be choosing an action like a sports or dance move and explaining the major muscles and bones involved, designing an exercise program to pre, pare a person to excel in this activity and then discuss some of the major injuries involved and how to prevent them. The movement should be complex enough to have more than one movement and several muscles involved.
Part 1. Choose a skilled action like dunking a basketball or your favorite dance moves. Then break down the steps in the motion for all limbs and describe the skeletal elements and muscles or muscle groups that are involved. Obviously the bones the muscles are attached to would be a good start but think about tendons and ligaments as well. Shoot for between 5 and 10 steps to keep it practical. You can post photos of the moves, stick person figures, or a video of the motion with a transcript describing when a step occurs.
Part 2. Based upon the muscle groups in part 1 design an exercise regime for a person hoping to improve this move in the future. You might include stretching and care for the skeletal elements like stretching and support.
Part 3. Explain the most common injuries from this activity, the symptoms and treatments. You should have say 3 examples here.
