One homozygous strain of silkworm lays white eggs, and another lays black eggs. The F1 offspring of a cross of white and black egg laying silkworms are all found to lay white eggs. Among the F2 progeny, 50 silkworms were found to lay white eggs, 10 laid black eggs and four laid pink eggs.

i. Explain the mode of inheritance of egg color.
ii. What are the genotypes of the parents?
iii. What are the genotype (s) of the F1?
