In the tundra biome penguins, fish, killer whales, algae, and krill live in a stable food web. The algae, which are photosynthesizers, are a food source for the krill. The krill is a large food source for the fish. The penguins feast on the fish. The killer whales eat the fish and penguins.

1.) Due to overhunting, all the killer whales were removed from the food web. Explain the effect on the food web.

2.) A walrus that eats fish ventured into the habitat and now has joined the food web. What would be the result of having this new organism?
