Design an alarm circuit to be used in a process control system.
Design an alarm circuit to be used in a process control system. Temperature (T), pressure (P), flow (F), and level (L) of a fluid are each monitored by separate sensor circuits that produce a high logic output signal when the following indicated physical conditions exist:
- High fluid temperature- High fluid pressure- Low fluid flow rate- Low fluid level
The alarm circuit output (A) should be high if any of the following physical conditions exist in the system:
(1) The pressure is high when the flow is low.(2) The temperature is high when either the pressure is high or the level is low.
List the truth table inputs in the order T P F L. Be sure to identify the correct physical conditions for the alarm in the logic truth table.
What is the peak frequency deviation of the FM signal? What is the FM improvement in dB?
Analyze Case Study - NIBCO's 'Big Bang': An SAP Implementation- Explain the pros and cons of the approach to implementation decided upon by NIBCO.
How are the left (L) and right (R) signals obtained separately in the radio receiver to drive the dual channel audio amplifier and speakers?
What effect do internal capacitances in the transistor model have on practical performance of a real system? How would you use these model values to predict system performance?
In comparing the behaviour of an n-channel MOSFET with a p-channel device having identical geometry and threshold voltage, it is found that the n-channel FET has a greater drain current than that of the p-channel FET.
Determine power series values for common scientific and engineering functions and Obtain the Maclaurin series for the following functions. State the values of the x which the series converge.
In this project we will consider the control of a synchronous generator supplying electricity to the grid.
Digitizing an Audio Signal, PAM, ADC, An audio signal has a bandwidth that extends from 100 Hz to 10 kHz. The signal is sampled to create a PAM signal and then digitized by an analog to digital converter (ADC) that has 8 bits.

Consider a communications channel with a passband of 3 kHz to 27.4 kHz. A modem will be connected to this communications channel and the modem will operate with a signaling rate that is 0.56 the maximum allowable signaling rate for this communicat..
A DSSS-CDMA signal has a chip sequence that is 1,000 chips in length. The sequence repeats every millisecond. Define DSSS-CDMA Chip Sequence
Analysis of discrete time waveforms in z domain, A discrete time domain signal x(n) - u(n) - u(n-10) is decomposed and plotted. It is then examined in the z domian by appropriate transformation and algebraic manipulation.
