You will find your "components" (processes) either in the "cabinet" on the left hand side (simply click on to the symbol and place it on the screen) or in the menu under module. Work closely with the simplest of the processes mapped there. Design very simple circuits using the Help option in the DASYLab menu.
(a) Begin with a simple circuit which at intervals of 1s switches the "lamp" on and off.
(b) Link up two different signals by means of the mathematics component - for instance, addition or multiplication - and look at all three signals one below the other on the same screen.
(c) Examine the examples for "action" and "message" in the DASYLab S-version. Try designing such circuits yourself.
(d) Examine the "black box component" and consider when and for what purpose it might be used.
1.5V battery. Design a voltage divider to provide a voltage that is approximately 1/3 of the battery voltage. Use resistances in the kilo ohms range. Redesign your divider so that the resistors are in Mega ohms range.
A solar pond consists of a thin layer of fresh water floating on top of a denser layer of salt water. When the salty layer absorbs sunlight it warms up and much of that heat is held there by the insulating effect of the fresh water above it
Assuming that the current through and inductor is i l(t) = 10exp(-t/3). Find at what time this current dropped by 50percent of its initial value.
the N-type P-type doping levels of a silicon p-n junction are nd=na= 5x10^16 cm^-3 caltulate the built in voltage Vbi a) at a room temperture b) at 300c c) at 700 c (ni= 1.10x1018 cm^-3) does a negative value for Vbi mean anything
draw the sympol and truth table of the gate that corresponds to the action of the logic gate.
Refrigerant 134a enters a steady flow, andiabatic revesible turbine as saturated vapor at 1200kPa and expands to 100kPa. If the power produced by the turbine is 100kW, find the volume flow rate of the refrigerant at the turbine exit.
Explain the addressing mode for XCHG? - What is ADD r? - Explain the addressing mode of ADD. - What is ADC r?
If In is greater than or equal to Th, then Out is 0. If In is less than Th, then Out is (255*(Th-In))/Th A typical calling shows the two inputs, In and Th, are passed on the stack and the return parameter, Out, is returned in Reg B.
For a coaxial line with inner conductor radius a and outerc onductor radius b, V = V0 at ρ = a and V = 0 atρ = b. Find the potential distribution by solving Laplace'sequation. Also find capacitance per unit length.
In 1988, the average wage rate was $9.45 an hour and in 2008 the average wage rate was $18.00 an hour. The CPI in 1988 was 118.3 and in 2008 it was 215.3 . Which real wage rate is higher?
A fiber has n1=1.53, n2=1.46 and a core diameter of .080 mm. It is to be coupled to a photodiode whose circular sensitive area is 20mm². It has been found that there is 2.75 db of coupling loss present.
Create two subsystems, where each subsystem executes on separate Micro Controller Units (MCU). One subsystem represents the Engine Management System (EMS) and the other the Engine Control Unit (ECU).The system is to emulate an Engine Control Syst..
