Two masses are connected by a string that is passed over a ceiling-mounted pulley, forming what is called an Atwood's machine. The first mass is 2.03 kilogram and the second mass is 5.00 kilogram. Assuming the string is ideal - no stretching, negligible mass, the pulley has any friction, and the masses encounter no air resistance, evaluate the magnitude of the acceleration of each mass.
