Assessment Part: Evaluation Report

This is the second part of Assessment 3 and done in conjunction with Part A (role play meeting with client)

Write a report critically reviewing, analysing and evaluating your chosen mental health service organisation in Australia (used in Part A). This organisation MUST be specific to the State in which you reside, or have a branch located in this State if it is a national agency. Conduct your own research and analyse the agency's current services and frameworks in its mental health practice.

Question 1: Critically analyse the theories, frameworks, values, mission, services and therapeutic models of your chosen mental health organisation. Identify the organisation in your introduction and connect your analysis to at least one of its publications (e.g. Annual Report, Strategic Plan, Mission Statement) and relevant research.

Question 2: Evaluate the application of professional practice and competencies in community services, with reference to national ethical and professional standards (e.g. State Mental Health Act, national policies, CWA and AASW Codes of Ethics and Practice Guidelines) and relevant research. Get expert-level assignment help in any subject.

Question 3: Demonstrate knowledge of mental health and community work in Australia, drawing on theories, national standards/policies, and key issues discussed in the unit. Analyse both the strengths and challenges of current recovery-oriented and related practices, supported by research.

Question 4: Critically examine issues impacting vulnerable community groups (eI. homelessness, Aboriginal peoples, youth, disability), considering ethical implications. Assess the impacts of mental health issues on these groups in your local area, using statistics and research. Connect this analysis to the services provided by your chosen organisation and your case study.

Question 5: Reflect on your professional and ethical practice as a mental health professional. Report on the outcomes of your service plan (Part A), addressing gaps and areas for improvement based on feedback from the role play. Support your reflection with research, national standards, and ethical guidelines (CWA/AASW or other relevant).

Research requirements

1. All parts of your report must include in-text citations to support arguments with full details provided in the end references of a MINIMUM of 8 recent (published in the last 10 years or so) and relevant (your evidence must be clearly related to your discussion points)

Discuss and refer to at least one key national mental health practice report/strategy explored in class (in addition to academic literature above) available in in the Week 4 "Australian Government National Mental Health Policies" Moodie folder.

Look at and reference at least one of your organisation's Annual Report, Strategic Plan, Mission Statement or other such key documents to
inform your analysis of its theories and frameworks (see their website's "About Us", "Publications" or other relevant pages), mainly for Part 1 of the report.

Formatting requirements

Ensure your report includes (ALL) a Cover Sheet, Contents page, Introduction, Body, Conclusion and APA 7 References list (both in-text citations and end reference list) and follows BCS Formatting Guidelines (see "Assessments" tab).

Use the 8 parts of the assignment questions as headings/sub-headings to organise your report clearly.
