An astronaut lands on a distant planet and wants to measure the planet's gravitational acceleration. She takes a 0.02-kg ball out of her pocket and attaches it to a 0.700-m string. She finds that this simple pendulum has a period two-thirds as large as the period she measured with the pendulum on Earth. What is the acceleration due to gravity on this planet?
