Within the 3000-word limit, students are expected to conduct extensive research on contemporary ICT project management methodologies. They should evaluate these techniques and make recommendations for enhancing the project's success as outlined in the provided case study.

TechMart Solutions is a leading provider of IT products and services based in Sydney, Australia. With a network of retail stores across New South Wales, TechMart has been serving customers since 1995, offering a wide range of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and related accessories.
TechMart's head office is located in Sydney, and the company operates retail stores in major cities like Parramatta, Newcastle, Wollongong, Campbelltown, and Hornsby. The company currently employs around 280 people and caters to both individual consumers and businesses.
TechMart's operations are currently supported by three separate systems that have been in place for the past 8 years:
Human Resource Management System (HRMS) for managing employee records and payroll
Point of Sale (POS) system for handling sales transactions and inventory management
Accounting system for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
However, TechMart is facing several challenges with its current systems:
Data integration between the three systems is manual, involving exporting and importing data files. This means the data displayed in each system is not real-time, as the updates are performed at the end of each business day.
The POS system is outdated, with poor performance and lack of touch screen support. This leads to longer customer wait times, which is a concern as competitors are using more advanced technology.
Managing promotions and special sales is challenging with the current POS system.
Executives require access to sales and financial data on their mobile devices, but the current systems do not support this capability.
Maintaining three separate systems with manual data integration is costly, and the management is looking to streamline processes by implementing a single integrated system.
TechMart has hired you as a consultant/project manager to assess the current problems, propose a solution, and manage the project implementation. The initial scope of the project (subject to change based on your findings) includes:
Implementing a single integrated system to support organizational processes
The new system should support sales management, customer management, vendor management, employee management, and financial management.
All legacy data from the existing systems needs to be migrated to the new solution.
The objectives of this project are:
