A 65 year old Filipino male who speaks mainly Tagalog, with a medical history of hypertension, diabetes, and a smoker for 20 years, was admitted with a right middle cerebral artery stroke. He has left-sided weakness, facial droop, and slurring. He has confusion, difficulty following commands, impaired swallowing, and impaired mobility. He exhibits mood changes and emotional distress.
