A beam of nuclei is used for cancer therapy. Eachnucleus has an energy of 130 MeV, and the relative biologicaleffectiveness (RBE) of this type of radiation is 16. The beamis directed onto a 0.17 kg tumor, which recieves a biologicalequivelant dose of 180 rem. How many nuclei are in the beam?
