The different types of random samplings methods are the following:

• Simple random sampling - is a typically used method when a population has distinct differences such as level of education, age, and/or can easily be broken down to subgroups.
• Cluster Random Sampling - Is divided into smaller groups among a population
• Systematic Random Sampling - A probability sampling method in which we randomly select one of the first k elements and then select every kth element thereafter. For example: if you 2000/100=20 elements in the population.
• Convenience Sampling - The advantage of probability sampling is that the sampling distribution of the appropriate sample statistic can generally be identified.
• Judgment Sampling - A nonprobability method of sampling whereby elements are selected for the sample based on the judgment of the person doing the study

Meanwhile, it is useful to use probability sampling methods when trying to figure out the population of a certain group in regards to making the best decisions, and judgments based on the information that is given. By also using these methods, it helps with interpreting the results.

I think science, and population may differ from the view of how you may apply it. But God made individuals for places on the earth to job.
