Problem: Get outside and visit a local (close to your home) park or open space preserve while social distancing and mask wearing. If you do not have a park close to your home then you can take a walk around your neighborhood. For about an hour at the location you choose observe the environment and nature around you. Now that we have gone through numerous modules on habitats, environmental issues, conservation topics you should be able to recognize some of these now. TAKE NOTE of the habitats (plant community) you pass through, any wildlife that you are seeing, any environmental issues you observe and any restoration, conservation or mitigation effort you see. Would you have noticed these items before taking this class?
