Read the "social theory" entry in the New World Encyclopedia at the following link, and also read the introductory essay for Section One of your text, Social Theory Re-Wired.

Explain how social theories are useful to the following groups: researchers, practitioners, and individuals in society.

As presented in the introductory essay, explain the concept of "social order" and Emile Durkheim's concept of "social solidarity."
