This section continues the observations of growth patterns of the organism Staphylococcus epidermidis and Saccharomyces cerevisiaeusing solutions containing 1%, 7%, and 15% NaCl.

Task:

A. Define the following three terms in relation to microbial growth:

B. Describe your observations for Staphylococcus epidermidis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae under these conditions:
1. 1% NaCl solution
2. 7% NaCl solution
3. 15% NaCl solution

C. Explain the results of your observations for Staphylococcus epidermidis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae in NaCl solutions in part B.
