Employees that feel trusted are better placed to achieve their potential and ar egiven an incecntive to ensure they perform well. As a leader, it falls on you to take responsibility for the sucess and failure of their team. However a good leader shares the successes and absorbs the failure. Empowering the team to drive for sucess and sharing any wins is an important trait. More importantly its about taaking responsiblity when mistakes are made.(SA)

The person that I pick is my old manager from Denny's his name is Shawn and he was the best manager that I have ever had because he really was on top of things,when it really needed to be because. He was also everything in one he was a manager,server,also a friend when ever someone really needed to talk to.He was always there at work even when he did not have to just to help out.He affected my peronal life by, being a good friend of mine also other then just my manager at work and he also was there for me when I was having trouble with my daughter, she also worked there to at Denny's. An effective manager is? Someone who is doing their job and not just be goofy around and making sure that the employee's are doing just what they are suppost to be doing and not just playing around.Amanager also is a person that makes sure their job is done and doing what they have to like the paper work and keeping up with all the employees.
