Use the readings in Module 1 and any other relevant sources to write a 3- to 5-page paper that responds to the following questions:
• What is curriculum?
• Include a discussion of historical and current perspectives on curriculum theory and development.
• Identify a curriculum theory that is most applicable to your current (or future) role as an educational leader.

The Module 1 readings have provided a background on curriculum theory and development. While the readings are a blend of theory and practical considerations, it is important to translate these theories into action in a contemporary educational setting. Identify a curriculum (or a portion thereof) at your educational institution (or another educational institution that you have access to). Write a 3- to 5-page paper that:
• includes a brief summary of the curriculum
• identifies the curriculum theory most closely aligned to it
• explains your view on the effectiveness of this curriculum
