DSM Case Study Vignette

General Anxiety Disorder (GAD) has been around for years. GAD can be a hard disorder to diagnose due to the multiple disorders that it can mask. This disorder affects many people throughout the world. People with this disorder tend to worry obsessively about things that have generally no reasoning behind the worrying. This disorder can cause severe anxiety; however, sufferers can still function in society, without the GADs getting in their way. It is often hard to find the underlining problem for the anxiety and obsessive worrying about things beyond the control of the individual with the disorder.
