Two masses, Ma(4kg) and Mb(6kg), are connected by a massless string and move on a horizontal surface. A horizontal pulling force, F, is applied to Mb. The coefficient of kinetic friction is uk=0.25 between Ma and the surface, but uk=0 between Mb and the surface.

Draw and label the physical situation.

Draw and label the appropritate free-bodu diagrams.

If the acceleration of the mass is 2.5 m/s2, determine the tension in the spring.

Determine the net force acting on Mb.

Determine the value of the pulling force, F.
