Terrorist threats to the United States emerge from both domestic and international extremist organizations. The types of threats as well as the precautions that must be taken to guard against these threats have similarities and differences based upon whether the terrorist group is a domestic or a foreign organization.For this assignment, you will be required to research the different types of threats posed to the United States by domestic and international terrorist organizations. Some suggested topics that you might consider discussing in your paper include the different types of threats posed by domestic and international terrorist organizations, the measures required to guard against these different types of threats, or the role of a lone terrorist in a domestic versus an international terrorist threat. These are suggested topics to research and report in your paper. You may also incorporate any other topics that compare and contrast the threats posed by domestic and international terrorist groups.
