Question: Visit online one of the following major art museums in Fort Worth, Texas: the Kimbell Art Museum or the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum and select an artist to investigate. The Kimbell focuses on artists who worked prior to 1945. The Modern focuses on contemporary artists (post 1945). The artist's body of work can include any medium or multiple mediums.

Note: when you select an artist to write about, choose wisely. Pre-check online to see if you can find a sufficient amount of sources for information on the artist and their work. If you can, this is a good choice, even if the artist's work is not personally to your liking.

With your paper, present:

- historical information on the artist (personal and professional); and how that influenced their work;

-historical information on the culture (time and place, important events, colleagues / associates, art trends or stylistic associations) in which the artist works or worked, and how that influenced their work;

-historical information on the artist's overall body of work

-evaluation of one specific work from the artist examining a minimum of three elements of art and two principles of organization especially important to the work. Include in your evaluation work specifics (size, medium, date, etc), and a brief description of the work (subject).

-Lastly, with your conclusions, does the information you find persuade you to support the artistic vision of the artist? Explain why or why not.
