In your opinion, which form of assessment discussed in the textbook would be the most appropriate to assess the chosen topic? Give reasons for your answer. Paper-pencil test. Students will be able to write the steps of how they found the solution to the calculus problem.
Explain the purposes of the assessment and describe the tasks and instructions. The purpose of the assessment is to evaulate the student's ability to go through the necessary math functions to reach the correct solution. The task will be to solve the math problems and write out the work under each problem with the solution.
How will you use the results of the assessment to improve instruction? This will show me if students know how to follow the correct functions in order to solve calculus problems.

Reliability: consistency in the instrument itself - meaning that the items are well-written and understandable and the scoring is fair and impartial.
Standardization: consistency in the administration of the test - meaning that the test is given in such a way that everyone has an equal chance of success.
Validity: testing what you intend to test - meaning that the test covers the content you taught in a manner similar to the manner in which you taught it.
Practicality: ease of use - meaning that the assessment takes a reasonable amount of time and resources to both create and administer.
