Structure of the Essay
The essay should include and cover the following sections/aspects and content.
Introduction and rationale: Introduce what the assignment's focus will be. Give some background here on first thoughts. Provide the context and the rationale of the literature review and possible debates around this research area.
Research aims and questions: Explain the aims and objectives of the Essay and outline the research questions.
Methodology: Explain the search strategy (How did it go about this? Books? Journals? Databases etc?). Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria of literature for the review (ensure the validity and reliability of the research studies included in the Essay).
Findings (including literature review): What did the literature tell in relation to the question? Did anything startling come out of the review that were not expected? use the notes section to expand and use the literature to illustrate the findings.
Conclusions and implications: summarize the literature review and discuss the implications and recommendations. This section should not include any new material.
Presentation: Cover page, table of contents, page numbering, line spacing, 10 appendices (if it is necessary), font consistency, separation of paragraphs.
