1. According to a national survey conducted by Revera and the International Federation on Aging (IFA), ageism is the most tolerated form of social discrimination in Canada. Of the Canadians surveyed, 21 percent say older Canadians are a burden on society, and 35 percent admitted to having treated someone differently because of their age.

a) What are your own personal attitudes and beliefs about age and aging?
