1: Not all rational equations have a single solution. Some them have extraneous solutions which occur when the denominator is equal to zero. You cannot divide by zero, so these answers are discarded because they do not work with the original equation. Polynomials are one of the bigger reasons why rational equations can have multiple solutions. This is because of the powers that are raised and the solutions that are made available. In these cases, ‘x' has multiple solutions that still satisfy the original equation.
2: Do all rational equations have a single solution? Why?
3: No there is no single solution in rational equations but not all the solutions can fulfill the answer. The reason is rational equations have more than one solution is because the equation has polynomials. X can have many variables as Atena stated below which provides multiple solutions when completing a rational equation.
Prove that if G is a finite group, H subset of G that is closed with respect to the operation of G, Then every element of H has its inverse in H.
Linear equations problem
In the real world, when you need to make predictions for one variable Y based on one or more variables X, and if Y and X have a linear relation, then the least squares method would be useful.
